Angleton's Enma Lopez falls to the ground exhausted, 16.45 seconds after Somer Robinson passes the finish line. Lopez screams in pain after coming in second in the 1600 meter run with a time of 5:51.1. The time was good enough to send her to the regional meet. Moments later, Angleton track staff members put their arms around her and carry her off the rubberized track. "I was so close," said Lopez."It's all right. Second is good; you're going to the regional - prove yourself there," said Coach Breck Koelemay. The coaches laid her on a bench to rest.
